We've Moved !

We have moved as of June 1, 2007. Since our move we have changed our operations to allow us to focus more on bookings. Although, we loved having our office be a very public place, we found that having people drop in throughout the day was inefficient.

In order for us to best serve our extras we feel we need to commit our whole day to bookings and submissions. We have found that the industry is changing and that the casting directors often require availability checks when we submit pictures. Throughout the day we receive e-mails and calls from casting directors requesting what they are looking for and then we do searches to find the appropriate people. The casting directors view our clients on our website as well as on actionextra and then call us to book the appropriate people. We also check the commercial breakdowns daily and make submissions. This is time consuming and is best done without interruption.

We feel it is important to meet and stay in touch with people and are available every Thursday between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm in the Community Meeting Room at Metropolis Metrotown. It is located to the right of Old Navy down the hallway past the washrooms and there is a community meeting room sign above the door. Stephanie, the owner and main agent of the agency, will be there to see you. This time can be for people picking up checks, updating their photos, dropping off new application or simply to say hi and catch up. We value our clients, many of you we’ve worked with for years, so please feel free to give us any input or feedback about our new system. Many of you will be happy to know that we will now be forwarding cheques by mail to those of you who prefer that method. The week your cheque is due you can let us know if you want it sent by leaving us a message on our voicemail at (604)430-3035. You can also send us an e-mail to info@hollywoodnorthextras.com

Please include your full name, address(including postal code) and the name of the production. We will make a note on your file is you prefer to pick it up or have it sent out by mail and we will do this each time. Please bear with us as we make this new system work!
